Summary: | The authors based on their experience in teaching, in the 80's and 90', and in the first decade on this new century, distinguish the research concept which directs their work as teacher and researches, that is, the action research. At first, the article presents a historic situation of the meaning "action research", and indicates the last centuries decades importance, emphasizing the teacherresearcher and rescuing his/her value at the present context in brazilian education. Next, it introduces the dialectic-historic materialism as the theoretical support reference on action research, with criticism to the traditional research design. And finally, it points out the problem for the institutionalization on the academic field, in deference of the lasting theoretical design by the apprentices of action research. |
