Summary:Summary: Single-cell RNA sequencing (scRNA-seq) is a powerful tool for studying transcriptomics. Here, we present an optimized protocol for dissociating human scalp tissue and acquiring high-quality single-cell suspension for scRNA-seq to study transcriptomics of human hair follicles. We describe steps for human scalp tissue cleaning, subcutaneous fat removal, mechanical mincing, and enzymatic digestion.
