Methods for Fuel Consumption Reduction in Commercial Vehicles
The following means to reduce fuel consumption by commercial vehicles were examined: decrease of aerodynamic drag and tire drag; optimization of engine and transmission characteristics, and optimization of their operation modes. The quantitative evaluation of each trend was provided.
