description Organizational commitment is one of the most important factors in business success and competitive advantage in today’s organizations. Thus, employee involvement in decision making and corporate affairs has been raised as one of the most widely used strategies to achieve organizational commitment. Clearly the management is the most effective organizational element, can facilitate the implementation this style of decision making in organizations according to the propensity that has in this case. The main obiective of this study is the surveying dimensions of manager’s propensity for participative decision making and its impact on organizational commitment. Using one-sample T-test and Friedman, was determined the position each of dimensions of managers propensity for participative decision making and using hierarchical regression, was demonstrated, the effect of three dimensions (culture, management commitment, organizational effectiveness) of managers propensity for participative decision making on organizational commitment but the impact of the dimension of managers power for participative decision making on organizational commitment was rejected.
