Information about second finding of Laricifomes officinalis (Batsch) Kotl. & Pouzar (Fomitopsidaceae) in the Gorce Mountains the External Western Carpathians is given, and its legitimate and illegitimate selected synonyms are cited. This species in Poland is very rare and threatened.
