the effects of current intensity and cooling conditions during spot welding of AISI 304 stainless steel on mechanical properties and microstructure of the welded joint were investigated. Tensile-shear tests and hardness tests of joints welded at different current intensities and cooling rates were carried out. Morphology and microstructure of nucleus zone were examined.
