Cytoplasmic sequestration of p53 by lncRNA-CIRPILalleviates myocardial ischemia/reperfusion injury

Overexpression of long non-coding RNA, lncCIRPIL protects the heart from ischemia/reperfusion (I/R) injury. LncCIRPIL binds and sequesters p53 in the cytoplasm to exert the cardioprotective action.
