Reduced excitatory neuron activity and interneuron-type-specific deficits in a mouse model of Alzheimer’s disease

Interneuron-specific lines reveal that somatostatin interneurons are hyperactive whereas pyramidal neurons and PV interneurons are ‘hypoactive’ in the APP/PS1 mouse model of Alzheimer’s Disease.
