Description
Summary:This work studies the influence of curvature ratio on flow and heat transfer in curved microchannel heat sinks, and introduces an innovative thermal test method that can be integrated into the micro heat sink and other micro-devices. The thermal performance was rigorously evaluated using a comprehensive set of parameters, including Reynolds number, Nusselt number, Poiseuille number. Within the scope of the study, microchannel heat sink with larger curvatures exhibit superior comprehensive thermal performance, but this also leads to an increase in flow resistance within a controllable range. However, larger curvatures are also constrained by machining precision, mechanical stability, and fabrication costs.
