PARP1 allows proper telomere replication through TRF1 poly (ADP-ribosyl)ation and helicase recruitment
The poly (ADP-ribose) polymerase (PARP1) interacts with the telomere factor TRF1 and loss of PARP1 results in telomere fragility and impairment of helicases -TRF1 complex assembly.
