NUEVO REGISTRO PARA LOS MOLUSCOS MARINOS DE CUBA: CALAMAR DIAMANTE Thysanoteuthis rhombus (MOLLUSCA: CEPHALOPODA).
Por primera vez se colecta en aguas cubanas un espécimen del calamar diamante Thysanoteuthis rhombus Troschel, 1857 (Mollusca: Cephalopoda). Fue capturado el 16 de febrero del 2007 en Playa Larga, al norte de Cayo Coco. Presentó un largo total de 1, 21 m y un peso de 14 Kg.
