Need for improvement of phonics - analytical - synthetic process for literacy in primary education in Cuba

In this article it is presented an analysis about the conceptual and methodological inadequacies of the phonetic-analytic-synthetic method. The components of the phonetic-analytic synthetic method are also presented, together with some considerations on the improvement of this method.
