A New Technique fo the Casting of Missing Areas in Glass Restoration
This article traces the development of a new method of glass restoration for fragmentary and incomplete vessels. The technique involves making a blank of the missing area and then moulding and casting away from the object as an alternative to conventional gap-filling 'in situ'.
