description The article deals with the difficulties to investigate young children in nursery schools. Age is here considered as a key as far as interviewer-respondents relationships are concerned. Before working on 3-6 years old pupils, the interviewer has to be filtered first by the adults who are responsible of them. Because of these specific subjects, the survey lasted more than usual and has encountered negative such as positive circumstances while densifying the materials gathered. The article focuses on concrete examples that put into perspective the ages of the respondents and the interviewer.
