Anal tuberculosis presenting as refractory perianal abscess
Abstract Although most cases occur in immunocompromised individuals, anal tuberculosis can occur in the absence of HIV infection. Anal tuberculosis should be considered in the differential diagnosis of chronic or recurrent anal fistulas.
