description This paper focuses on the analysis of the interactions between Master 1 students in Didactique des langues (foreign and second language didactics) at the university of Saint-Étienne, the referents of the Dispositif de réussite educative (educational success system), plurilingual children, and the researchers leading this project. Al together, they form the Ateliers Langage Créatifs (creative language workshops). With this study, we aim at understanding the way in which the interventions of the various participants in an informal learning community have a “glottopolitical” dimension. To tackle this issue, we follow a methodological approach inspired by Conversation Analysis to determine what language policies are adopted at an individual level in the discursive practices and choices, as well as in the conversational processes of the participants. Through playful activities, the workshops target the reinforcement of oral skills in French for children who show difficulties in the process of language learning, while promoting plurilingual practices.
