A phylogenetic approach to study the evolution of somatic mutational processes in cancer
A method, PhyloSignare, is presented to infer mutational signatures along a tumour evolutionary tree and is used to analyse somatic genomic variations in 61 lung cancer patients, providing insights into tumour evolution.
