EVANGELICAL REMINISCENCES IN ANTON CHEKHOV'S SHORT STORY "THE BLACK MONK"
A detailed analysis of evangelical reminiscences in the artistic structure of this Chekhov's story allows us to reveal the philosophic concept, the system of values that causes death of all the main characters in the story, and whose immediate exponent is the black monk.
