Sierra Leone: resettlement doesn’t always end displacement

Almost one quarter of a million displaced SierraLeoneans were resettled in their areas of origin by theend of 2002, officially ending the internal displacementcrisis in the country and further consolidating recoveryafter more than a decade of devastating civil war.
