«La media noche es pasada, / y no viene»: avatares de una canción, entre <i>La Celestina</i> y Alejo Carpentier
In La Celestina (auto XIX), Melibea sings two short songs that have survived in the Pan-Hispanic oral tradition for five centuries. This article analyzes the origins and evolution of both songs, from the point of view of metric, formulas, theme and style.
