Description
Summary:The article presents the concept of Media and Information Literacy, having as reference the functions of the use of media and technologies, understood as possibilities in the construction of knowledge. It presents the socioeconomic context, market trends and public policies, as important factors to present the new media and their use in school environments, as well as their consequences in the teaching-learning relationship and in the training of teachers. An exploratory study was carried out in order to know the impressions of the participants on the use of educational platforms and digital games in learning environments. We infer that the subjects involved in the research showed a positive attitude towards the use of technological resources in the classroom and that they understand the need to adapt to the resources used, although there are limitations in their use due to the lack of infrastructure, but that the difficulties need to be overcome.
