Capture and electrochemical conversion of CO2 in molten alkali metal borate–carbonate blends

<jats:p>CO<jats:sub>2</jats:sub> captured from high temperature effluent gases by molten borate salts are reduced electrochemically to form carbon nanotubes.</jats:p>
