Health belief model : an investigation of the age-related risk perception of SARS in Singapore.
To develop adequate risk communication strategies for health epidemics similar to the Severe Acute Respiratory Syndrome (SARS), an investigation of the risk perceptions of Singaporeans with regards to the first SARS outbreak was conducted against the framework of the Health Belief Model.
