Description
Summary:This project aims to develop an autonomous unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) to be used in conjunction with an autonomous surface vehicle (ASV) to participate in the Maritime RobotX Challenge. This report details the proposed hardware and software solutions, including detailed drawings and engineering calculations for the following 3 subsystems of the UAV: Mobility system, Manipulation system and Perception system. Subsequently, this report will cover the overall system integration of the hardware and software respectively. Experiments were conducted and the results were used to evaluate the performance of the system. The final section of this report offers recommendations for future works to improve the design of the UAV.
