Summary: | "Reverberation" is an audio-reactive sensory experience that explores human-robotic communication through sound and force feedback. Unlike traditional musical instruments, which require the user to interact with a device to produce sound, this experience transforms the concept of an instrument into a device that "plays you". Within this experience, an exoskeletal robotic glove reads and analyzes frequency pulses from various sound ranges, translating them into forced movements. This provides a unique haptic experience for glove wearers and explores how sound can be felt on one's hand. This interactive experience provides further possibilities for visualizing and experiencing sound through haptics. In this report, I will uncover my ideation process, my prototypes, and final conclusions through my findings.
