description In region formation, communications are important as multiple robots are required to work together without any collision. Thus, consistent interactions among them are mandatory. The information provided by the localiser is vital in region formation. As implementation of region formation required the robot to be able to acquire its coordinate location. The aim of the project is to integrate the Bluetooth technology and external sensory such as encoders and localizer into the robot so as to implement formation movement. The robot used in this project is Boe-Bot developed by Parallax Inc and the programming language used is Basic Stamp. The localizer is from Hagisonic called Stargazer which provides the coordinates and orientations for the robots.
