Wavelet-based image analysis components for the internet

This report discusses the work done on developing JavaBean(s) for performing Wavelet-based image processing. Wavelet concepts are first introduced, including wavelet analysis/synthesis, continuous/discrete wavelet transform, the fast wavelet transform algorithm and some useful wavelet families.
