Summary:This research was undertaken in an attempt to study the factors affecting the tertiary students' choice of outbound tour packages and their unique characteristics were analysed to gain deeper insights into their travel needs and motivations. A marketing plan to aid travel agents in targeting at the tertiary students travel market was suggested by the research team, taking into account all the primary and secondary data gathered. An integrated framework of tertiary students market analysis was also recommended by the research team to help travel agents better understand how the tertiary students make their travel purchase decisions.
