Stress concentration in sandwich composite structures with a hole
In this project, the stress concentration factor around a centrally located circular through hole in a sandwich honeycomb plate for a face plate ply orientation of 0º, 45º and 90º subjected to unidirectional displacement was successfully studied using the finite element analysis.
