Summary:This report documents the design and development of an autonomous glass cleaning robot. The purpose of the robot is to potentially replace human labour for the cleaning of facades on high-rise buildings that are made of glass material. Prior to the works of designing and developing the robot, commercial products and work of previous graduating students were studied. From which gathered inspirations were used for carrying out design process of the robot. In the development process, the hardware components chosen in the design process of the robot were put into implementation and programmed through the programming platform, Arduino Integrated Development Environment. Furthermore, testing and verification of the developed robot were also carried out. Henceforth, further works that could be accomplished for the betterment of the developed robot were also discussed.
