description Before 1995 there were various types of conditions of contract adopted by different government agencies. It made understanding of different conditions of contract very time-consuming. With the implementation of standardised new conditions of contract in 1995 - the Public Sector Standard Conditions Of Contract For Construction Works, it is definitely a welcome change, at least, for its standard way of conditions of contract among different government agencies. This dissertation studies the clause on the loss and expense claim provision arising from variation orders of the conditions of contract via a survey.
