description The purpose of this study is to analyze the relationship of job satisfaction and affective commitment to organizational citizenship behaviors in PT Kaltim Methanol Industry (PT KMI), Bontang, East Kalimantan. PT KMI is one of the foreign investment companies operated in the chemical industry that determines to be the Asian chemical market leader. Due to its mission and the current state of global competition, all of the PT KMI�s employees are required to work harder. This obligation will only work if the company provides benefits that meet its employees� expectation. When the job satisfaction is not met, then the employees will be disloyal and eventually it will leads to a negative behavior. Primary data that is used to obtain the answers of this research�s questions are collected with some questionnaires. The research�s sample is selected through a purposive sampling to those who have been employed for more than a year. The demographics of the respondents are classified according to sex, age, recent education, tenure, and position in the company. After all the required data are completed, Structural Equation Model (SEM) is used to analyze the data. The study shows that: (1) there is a significant and positive relationship between job satisfaction and affective commitment (β = 0.376
