description | The purpose of this study was to determine whether the employees'
involvement in the preparation of Position Competency Requirements
(KKJ) can increase employee commitment to organizational goals.
Manipulation of such employees' involvement in the preparation of
Occupation Competency Requirement (KKJ). The subjects in this study
were 46 employees in 3 departments in the Asset Management division,
the Directorate General of PT Pertamina (Persero). Subjects were
divided into experimental group and control group. Subjects in the
experimental group receive the intervention in the form of preparation
Occupation Competency Requirement (KKJ). Measurement of the
effectiveness of interventions carried out by the scale employee
commitment to the organization, adapted from the scale used by Allen
and Meyer (1990). The results showed that employees' involvement in
the preparation of Occupation Competency Requirement (KKJ) can
enhance commitment to organizational goals in affective aspect (F =
25.834, p <0.01), continuance (F = 4.900, p <0.05), and the normative
commitment (F = 19.766, p <0.01) in the experimental group. |
