Summary: | Problems often faced by the domestic industry is the duty cycle and the
production process is not productive. This is due to related industry does not
understand the equivalence between the amount of labor required by the product. One
of these is to improve performance by performing calculations based on the amount
of labor time studies. At the time of this study, carried out observations of the cycle
time of a worker at the time of doing the job. The cycle time of the data, performed
calculations to determine the standard time and the amount of labor required at a
work station.
Case studies conducted in Household Food Processing Industry Brand \"Bu
Rejo\". This study focused on shredded beef products. Analysis used for the
calculation of standard time using the cycle time of each work station.
Based on the results of the calculation of the amount of labor required
theoretically as many as 5 people, while there are 4 people on the ground. So far the
number of owned labor, the production process continues to run smoothly because of
cross-process activities not collide with each other so that the worker can fill the void
of time in a way to help other workers who have not been completed.
