Summary: | In the current era of competition, it�s necessary human resources to work
effectively and efficiently. Organizational citizenship behavior is the extra
performance and also the behavior of flexible workers, but the rewards are not
given by organization, but contributes to the overall effectiveness of the
organization. Organizational citizenship behavior (OCB) is influenced by several
factors, including psychological well-being and leadership. Psychological wellbeing
is an individual evaluation form about the life in question. Leadership style
is still widely applied in organizations today is a transformational leadership style.
This study aims to determine the role of the psychological well being
organizational citizenship behavior with transformational leadership as a
moderator variable.
The study consisted of one independent variable, psychological well
being, the dependent variable is organizational citizenship behavior, and
moderator variable that is transformational leadership. The data was collected
using a scale model. The samples in this study were employees at the
headquarters of PT Garuda Food Putra-Putri Jaya, as many as 66 people. The
analysis technique used is to use multiple regression analysis techniques, with
the help of a data processing program SPSS version 18.
The results showed that the moderator variable of transformational
leadership is able to strengthen the relationship between psychological well-being
with organizational citizenship behavior (OCB) at employee GarudaFood. Rated
R square = 0.626. This indicates that the effective contribution of a given variable
moderator of transformational leadership were responsible for 62.6%. This
contribution is very significant as seen from the value of F = 14 675 (p = 0.00, p
<0.01), Before there are positive relationship between psychological well being
and organizational citizenship behavior with rated R square = 0,139, with
effective contribution 13,9%.
