Summary: | Daily deal discount website is experiencing a new fashion in recent years, especially in Indonesia. It presents growing importance as a new opportunity of promotional devices in targeting customized customers. Regarding to that, the evaluation of this promotional strategy is needed to predicting customers� coupon redemption intention of using the deal. Therefore, the aim of this study is to analyze the factor influencing the usage intention of daily deal discount website using the extended theory of planned behavior (TPB), through daily deal discount proneness. A sample of 203 daily deal discount customers from Yogyakarta completed an online questionnaire, as the input for linear regression analysis and multiple regression analysis. This study confirm that the components of TPB, which are attitude toward the act of using daily deal discount website, attitude toward internet searching, subjective norm, perceived behavioral control and past behavior have positive influence on the daily deal discount website proneness
