Summary: | ABSTRACT
Besides being required to produce a competitive cost, industries also need to improve their products to maintain their profitability. This paper reports a case study of product improvement process on a health soap industry. The process involves survey of customers satisfaction level, development of quality function deployment (QFD) and house of quality (HoQ), development of product concepts and process, and market testing. Based on the market testing data of the health soap product developed in this study, it is clear that the new product receives a better acceptant level from the customers.
