Carbon-encapsulated radioactive 99mTc nanoparticles
A macroscopic quantity of quasi-spherical fullerene-like shells that encapsulate iron nanoparticles containing radioisotope 99mTc were prepared. It was found that the nanocomposite is acid-non-leachable, retaining radioactivity at an extremely high level.
