| Summary: | Social media data is rich of insights to improve service, product or policy. However, not many local products develop to cater these needs. In this research, we developed an analytic solution called TRUST where pr1ma project is used as a case study. We capture sentiment analysis whether it is positive, neutral or negative value. The user can monitor the trend of an event; when the most people talked about specific brand. User can also download report and monitor the trend in the visualisation. We utilised textblob (lexicon based) and Python, PHP and MySQL as an open-source infrastructure for the system. Open source is chosen because it will lower down the cost of system deployment and maintenance when it comes into real commercialisation activities. Our prototype has received feedback from expert in IT and domain expert from government agency and construction industry. The feedback was valuable to improve our solution. |
