Quit rent hike stifling UUMs academic efforts
PUTRAJAYA : Higher Education Minister Datuk Seri Mohamed Khaled Nordin yesterday cited the PAS-led Kedah government's raising of quit rent for Universiti Utara Malaysia (UUM) by 10 times as an attempt to stifle the federal government's efforts to produce human capital for the country.
