Summary: | The user loyalty of social networking site is the key to the success of a social
networking site. This study attempts to examine the factors that influence website
loyalty on social networking sites by inducing the social influence and perceived
playfulness factor in updated DeLone and Mclean information systems success
model. The sample was 400 users of social networking site Facebook.com that
meet predetermined criteria. The reason of using Facebook.com users as the
research object because the Facebook.com is the most successful social
networking site to date. This study uses structural equation modelling (SEM)
techniques to examine the suitability of the proposed model, in addition to this
study will examine the hypotheses related to the factors that influence website
loyalty on social networking sites. The results of this study show that the model
proposed in this study as a fairly good fit in explaining the phenomenon of website
loyalty on social networking sites. Based on the results of regression testing
obtained stating that social influence factors have the greatest influence on the
user satisfaction and behavior intentions than any other factors, whereas
behavior intention has an influence greater than the user satisfaction influence on
the website loyalty. |
